Pay special attention to the narrow gaps between modules and the edges of the bezel, as any contamination here will create a path for moisture ingress. For displays previously installed outdoors, carefully scrape away any old, cracked, or peeling sealant using a plastic tool to avoid scratching the underlying PCB or housing. After cleaning, use compressed dry air to blow out all particles from screw holes and connector sockets. The final step before applying any new sealant is to wipe the entire channel with a solvent like isopropyl alcohol and let it evaporate fully, ensuring a perfectly clean, dry, and grease-free bonding surface.
