Nobody talks about this enough: LEDs are not designed to burn 24/7 without breaks. The lamp beads inside each pixel degrade faster under continuous heat and current. Over time, that degradation shows up as bright spots, dead pixels, or uneven color — and once it happens, it's irreversible.
Outdoor LED displays should rest for at least 2 hours every single day. During rainy seasons, large outdoor screens need a full weekly shutdown. Even if the screen looks fine, those rest periods let internal components cool down and prevent cumulative thermal stress. When the display is off for extended periods, power it on at least once a month for a couple of hours to keep the circuitry healthy.
